Agreed. My husband thinks I'm crazy... I actually just made a poll in the people talk section about that very subject! lol

Haha yeah. They think because I got him for 5 bucks in chinatown, that spending that much on him is ridiculous. How many free cats can you find on craigslist, and how many of those can you properly take care of without spending more than 20 bucks. Probably none.

I like seeing them get so much swimming room. Overall the tank looks pretty good, though you might want to move the UVB light closer. Nice job on everything.

Yeah he just has a field day in their. swimming up, and down and everywhere. We figured this tank will be fine until we figure out his gender (at 4 inches) and even though i know about the 1"=10 gallons, i also know turtles have gone longer and in worse conditions than a 4 inch slider in a 30 gallon tank. I'll probably just remove the decorations to give him more room to swim when he gets larger.

I couldn't find anywhere in your video showing Chang eating his tank and the filter.

Joking aside, I really like your set up. Love your decoration especially the cave. Chang must have feel safe and comfortable in there. Wish I could find something like that for my turtle.

And wow, couldn't believe Chang could swallow almost the entire worm in one go without breaking it into several pieces, amazing!

Hahah thanks, I had to re-read my title to get the joke. lol. But thanks! the decorations actually came with my 55 gallon tank I bought off Craigslist. And I was amazed too! He just swallows it whole! lol

Hahahaha its not my room, it's my girlfriends. I bought Chang for her as a gift on vacation, and now even though I pay for everything, and take care of him far more than she does, she insists it stays at her house. And yes, I complain that her room is messy alllll the time.

You all sound like a married couple already.
