I must say that's creative, but what good did that do? Once you take the bag off and leave the tank in same spot,algae will form again. You're gonna keep putting the garbage on the tank once a week?



i thought about that too but luckily i found a used UV sterilizer for free to control the free floating algae... the garbage bag was merely there to speed up the removal.. so far the UV sterilizer has been able to keep it under control. ( cora life turbo twister 3x )

im also going to build a small little curtain around the tank that can be pulled away and back. lol
ive bought those suction cups with hooks that can stick to glass. they are cheap at the dollar store.
i will then cut a cheap second hand curtain and use that. maybe it'll help/work, maybe it wont haha :)
