Just need opinions on whether to use aquarium salt in Tee's tank. We use it in our fish tank, and I've seen "yes use it" and "no don't use it" from different websites. What does everyone else think? Good/Bad, just want opinions from everyone.

For RES, it's ok to use freshwater aquarium salt. Some think it might be slightly beneficial and I don't think there is any drawback whatsoever.

Agreed.
Some people say they keep RES in a slightly brackish tank with success. It should help avoid skin and shell issues. Needless to say that this is for the experienced keepers. If you put too much salt you may dehydrate your turtle since it won't be able to drink.

I have been using freshwater aquarium salt in Charlotte's tank for about 6 months now. I put a couple tablespoons in every time I do a partial water change (about every 6 weeks). I started using it hoping it would help Charlotte's shell but I haven't noticed any difference in her. However, it has helped the fish with color and fin issues so i'll continue to use it.
