I am going to leave for work soon and i noticed that Rosenberg is trying to escape the tank! i need a good improvised solution quickly just to keep them in the tank untill i can get to the store to buy a more permanent solution!

lower water level..

I'd lower the water level for now. It's the quickest way.

i moved the basking light a bit and but a board over the corner of the tank. when i got home both turtles were accounted for. so tomorrow i'll have to head to home depot to get some chicken wire.

I'm sure you can do better than that.....get creative.

Spiky does that too,
1- keep the water at a limited height [use a marker and make a small line]
2- use acrylic
3- protect your turtle from injuries

I think a number of people use something like an oven grill.

i would love to buld an ATBA, but the funds are not available yet.

What i'm thinking about doing is useing that screen stuff they sell at home depot, it is rigid and has about 1/4" holes in it. and make a lid for the whole tank.
