I'm hoping to get my RES a 125g 6ft aquarium with part of my tax return, but i have no idea what filter would be best for an aquarium that large. I was looking at this one, but don't know if need one so powerful or not.

My husband doesn't want to spend more than we need too, but i know how messy RES are. Anybody with a large tank have any suggestions?

Peace,
Cherry

Love the FX5. I've got 2 of them. It would be perfect for a 125g. It's definitely not overpowered for a tank that size!

Sometimes you can find them for a better price on eBay, so be sure to check them out before you buy it from a retail shop.

The FX5 is perfect on my 135g. Well worth the extra buck.

Before you buy anything. Go on Google and check for better prices.
This is what I found: http://www.amazon.com/Hagen-Fluval-Exte ... B000I1O2PK
1 Mississippi Map Turtle 3.25'' (Landslide)
1 Ouachita Map Turtle 4.0'' (Hurricane)
The rest of the turtles have been adopted to good homes. :)

I found them for cheaper on ebay, that's a good thing.
