Turns out there's a planted tank group/forum here in Madison. Well most of them have invasive plants in there tanks too (I.E. water lettuce). I got dam near a 1 gallon zip lock bag full of water lettuce for my sliders and painter.
I'll try and grab a pic later. But they're loving it. For once I have enough that they couldn't eat it all over night.
So check to see if there's any local planted tank clubs around!!
Definitely the place to get plants, and fish that you know the history of!
