Wow, Cope! That looks great! If I ever get into that part of the lizard world, I'll keep this in mind, I really like the way it all looks. Make sure and put up another vid when it's finished!

I noticed you said you used grout help make part of the background. I was going to make a background for my RES tank but I couldnt find one that would work. Or at least not that I thought would work. The guy at menards just said that none of the grout he had dried solid. Everything was a soft grout that they had.

Also wondering how you cut the plexi glass. Was it Acrylic? I just recently made a shelf for my tank from acrylic and I had a horrible time cutting it. I was told a fine tooth saw would work but then I also saw that it could shatter the acrylic.

the grout I used is like cement... and it dries hard... I cut the acrylic with a table saw... jig saw and a band saw.. with no trouble at all.....
I am making one more right now for a buddy... I will do some things different... I had somesmall problems... like the water fall has a tiny leak and it drips around the edge and finds it's way onto the carpet... also the water falls are too far apart and the water crashing down splashes on the front glass... I can choke the water down.. but it is the return for the filter.. so I really donot want to slow it down.. I am going to make some changes to it this weekend.....
