Habitat - Indoor :: changed my tank to bigger one now turtle seems to not like ?

i am new to the turtle thing. i had my red eared slider in a tank with very little water for a long time. it seemed very happy, healthy.

now i have a bigger tank, put a basking area etc......now my turtle doesnt seem right, he keeps swimming around wont go to baking area always trying to get my attention. i put him in basking area doesnt want to be there.

is my turtle not happy???? someone help please!!!!!

Sound like he wasn't really able to swim before
Give him some time to adapt to the new environment.....

Sometimes it takes a few days to a few weeks for the turtle to get used to the new area, and feel safe.

All is well.

The little one wants your attention because it is begging for food. Don't feed it anymore than you should. Turtles beg for food because their instincts are too survive at all costs, and food is much more scarce in the wild than it is in captivity.
