The reviews for this seem to be amazing, not sure how it gets set up exactly but everyone seems to love it.I would get pro one.

I would get the one for 55 gallons.

I don't have experience with any of those filters, but I do know that Eheim is supposed to be a very good brand. It's usually the most expensive though.

Just remember, the more filtration, the better. If it's only a little bit more $ for a bigger model (or higher gph), go for the bigger model.

I'd hunt for a good deal on a Fluval FX5. I got a new one on ebay for $219 to my door. I also got a great deal on one locally on craigslist ($100!) so I've got two now. It's better to go big as you can afford now. I like knowing my turtle will unlikely outgrow it's filtration.

lun-be-4 Marinland filters are good filters. I would suggest that any filter that has a 5x exchange with a good biological setup for media would be ok. There is very little difference between the 55 and the 60 gallon tank. I use a 350 gph Marineland Magnum and it does a good job. You size a turtle tank by the gph and not some other number such as doubling or greater some fish tank. Good Luck in your choice. m.

That sounds like a good deal on an XP4. Last time I looked it was hard to find an XP3 for $120, so 150 on an XP4 sounds good.
