Habitat - Indoor :: basking light on 24 hrs, need water heater

i keep my turtle tank in the basement and it has started getting really cold, so i've left his basking light on 24 hours the past few days because i was worried about him getting too cold. i know this disrupts his sleep pattern. i was layed off two weeks ago and have practically no money, so can anyone help me find the cheapest possible water heater out there. i have a 10 gallon tank.

water heaters are relatively cheap. especially for a small 10 gallon tank. you should start saving up for a larger tank though

Can you move it out of the basement? That would be free. Check craigslist for cheap heaters.
