These were the best pictures I were able to get. If you look closely you can see some of the scutes lifting off, in person at least half of them are coming off. So far he's shed 3 scutes and 1 piece of a scute.
Do RES's typically shed all at once of over time? The way he's been shedding I think he'll have a new shell in 1-2 weeks the most. If they're supposed to shed over time I really think he didn't have a basking area at his last home.
Yesterday he was basking for the majority of the day. I have the basking area at 90*F and he was laying there with his head tilted up towards the "sun" and his neck extended.
