When you make a basking area for your turtle do you use the UVB light so the turtles can get there vitamin d3 and a normal light bulb for the basking area to be 10 degrees warmer? I just bought a UVB light bulb today but not sure what to use to make the basking area warmer sine it is said that the UVB light bulbs don't produce much heat. thanks :-)

regular light bulbs can be used to heat the basking area. put a thermometer on the basking area till you get it all dialed in.
