Habitat - Indoor :: water temp too high??

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

During the hottest part of the day today the water temp was up to 84 degress F according to my cheap stick on thermometer...what should I do about this??

I can open the door to allow the AC in this room sure...I thought they would get too cold if I did..

as long as you have a water heater and there are no cold drafts over the basking area you should be fine

most heaters only come on when the water is colder than what it is set at. what kind of heater is it?

Its made by Tetra and is called a Whisper...For 2-15 gallon tanks

i think you could leave it plugged in. if you notice it being on when the water is already warm just go ahead and un plug it
