I have the hot 250 and it is a fine filter for the $$. Mikee uses the 350 and likes it. I find the 250 a bit noisy, rather flimsy (compared to my canister filter), and a bit hard to prime. But in spite of my complaints it does a very nice job on the tank and they sell replacement media locally (most of the time). The media is reasonably priced too.
For $69 I think you'll get a solidly good filter. Check ebay and see if you can get it a bit cheaper too. Remember you can also take a print out of the price online to petsmart/petco and they will price match. When I bought the 250 they wanted about $90 in store, but online it was only $47. They gave it to me for $47 at the store.
