does anyone else have a problem with your
turtle tank causing the room to always be humid?


i keep my turtle tank it my bedroom and it gets
humid throughout the day.

Yes, if you aren't careful, the moisture can cause wood, walls, or papers to mold too.

If it's too bad, you can get a dehumidifier, they aren't too expensive, esp. if you get the kind that you just empty out the container every day or two instead of the ones with the attached drainage pipe.

I live in a dry area, so I've never had a problem with humidity. Sometimes in the winter, I get a condensation build up on the window, but if I open up the windows a crack, it lets the extra humidity out.

You could try cracking a window (if you aren't running the AC). Of course, I suppose this wouldn't work if you live in an area where it's even more humid outside o.O

But yeah, a humidifier would do the trick

well i got mines today, and my parents are complaning how humid it gets the room
gets. im comfortable with it but if i use these in the winter itll be much better

My mom doesn't complain because its always humid in our apartment because the dryers shaft like thing on the back is broke off. also puts a whole bunch of lint on the wall.
