Habitat - Indoor :: Is my basking area to HOT?

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

my basking area is at 93.2 and the water temp is between 75-78. and i do not if he is basking or not cause i have only seen him basking once. so any ideas that could help please?

Your basking temps are just right, you want to be between 90-95. However, some turtles prefer warmer or cooler basking temps. You can try decreasing the wattage of the bulb, down 10-15 W or up 10 W and see if he's more enticed. He may also be basking and you just never see him. Try putting a treat up there (like a piece of boiled chicken and see if it disappears.
