Habitat - Indoor :: My turtles love their new home!

These guys are a few months old. I had them in a plastic tub that they came in (3-4 inches of water only), but last week we finally set them up in a proper aquarium. They are SO happy! I used to think they didn't like me, but now they beg for food, eat out of my hand and area always watching us and dancing around their tank. (They ate and moved around fine before, they just didn't seem to like us).

I'm going to get another basing dock, or a bigger one. They both fit on this one, but just barely.

wow that looks really nice. my setup needs more things into it. since my setup only has like 7 things i want to add marbles tot he flooring some bubbles and plants and stuff. to make it pop because it doesnt look so flashy it just looks like a tank with 2 turtles in it

Looks good so far. I'd be very cautious with that pot, though. It could be a trick of the light, but that looks like a very tiny hole that has the potential to trap the little guys under water and lead to drowning.

what nettle said about drowning, id suggest to cut a hole on the top/bottom of the flower pot so the turtles know how to get out just in case they get stuck

The hole is very wide but not very tall. I'll have the boyfriend chip away at it some more to make it bigger- better safe than sorry. I thought of taking the top off the pot, but they like to stand on it to breath and hang out under their dock.

Hey does anybody give their turtles fruit? What kind do they like? they wouldn't eat a piece of an orange, but they'll eat everything else. Also, any ideas for toys? I heard ping pong balls are fun.

Turtles seem to LOVE blueberries, but its a once in a while treat, not an every day food, Its SOOO fun to watch them eat though. Pop a couple in the tank and you'll see what I mean!
