:D

I changed his 75 watt basking bulb with a 100 watt bulb and he's been on his basking rock ALOT ever since. I guess I'll be changing his infared bulb to a 100 watt also. What a difference a bulb can make!
Check him out...

I would just take out the infared bulb and use the Proper 5.0 UVB Bulb in combination with your other 100w heat bulb.

Just to clarify...he has the proper UVB bulb during the daylight hours along with his basking bulb. At night, in case he gets chilly, he has his infared bulb.

You should think about getting a different basking spot. That one looks too small.

It's true that having a good basking bulb for heat makes a huge difference. Spot uses a T Rex 100 MVB and it gets very hot indeed. Since he's had it he probably basks four times more than he did before. Turtles are little heat seekers.

I bought the same bulb for Hurley and he LOVES it. He basks so much longer and more often than before.
