I have a 10 gallon aquarium that is pretty full. I got a UVA/UVB lamp, but now I'm looking into getting a new dock, because Vien always ends up in the water on the one that I have right now. I want something not big. I want her to have some room to swim and bask without being in the water. WHat are some ideas...preferably not expensive. I can even make something, but I'm not creative, so I need something easy and small. Not interested in a basking area above the aquarium...help?
Not sure what you could use. A 10 gallon is pretty small and if your turt has to be in it for the time being, I would suggest an above basking area.

I think an above tank area would be good too - since the tank is small it would free up room for swimming that would otherwise be lost, which would be a good thing.
Here's a very inexpensive, adequate above tank area someone came up with:
Above the tank would be the best choice for the most swimming area. Why aren't you interested in above the tank basking? With and in the tank basking dock you can't raise the water anymore than what you have it at now so swimming space would be exactly the same as it is now.
