Habitat - Indoor :: Need help!! Any advice welcomed!

ADDICTED EH???? OMG I am on recovery from back surgery at the moment so think about how many hours a day I can spend on the internet!!! anyway, my dad is over helping me for a while - and every time he walks by I am either on this site or on sites for buying stuff for the turtle tank and he told me I am crazy obsessed!!! I'm even almost done building his basking area!!

I too want to educate myself- you should see the tiny bowl I kept my turtle in. (hatchling though) but still. I had no idea... and I found this site and now I have a 40 gal tank just like that. Amazing how much I am learning about this. I rescued my turtle from china town. Amazing at the conditions these little buddies were in... it was sad so my I wanted to give one a home. Little did I know how much they needed... but still I wouldn't change that for the world!

Congrats on the change you made. You should be proud. Good for you for doing the research. So many people out there dont.

Hahaha!! Thanks Oshyn!! Its good to know that I'm not the only one who spends waaaay too much time on this site. I never would have thought I'd get so into this whole "turtle life". Thanks for all the advice too! You've kind of inspired me to tweak my plans on my basking area. I think I might do a plexiglass like you are. Can't wait to see pictures when yours is done!!

No Problem Krzyspam! I spend hours each day!!! LOL I want to get it perfect and I want to be knowledgeable about it too. I got into this knowing a turtle was cute. That's it! hahah! Then I did the research about a month later.
