Sounds like you need a stronger filtering system all together.

i agree. carbon takes care of oder. you need a stronger filter if your water is turning green and try to do more water changes too.

If you have a freefloating algae bloom indoors, then something is outta wack.
"Pea soup" is expected in outdoor ponds in the Spring, while the filter is stablizing and the sun is relentlessly feeding the growth. But, I've never seen it in an aquarium.
What is your filter and lighting setup?

Its not actual algae growing, but the watesr jsut green

The green color is algae in the water...

What are the temps in the tank?
How much light does the tank get (near a window? lights on a long time?)
How often do you change the water? Do you do partial water changes in between tank and filter cleanings?

around 25 - 26 Celsius .. uhm yeah its near the window, but there are blinds and the light is on for around 9 - 10 hours in the tank D:.. I dont do much water changes.
