The older Stealth's I think say "lifetime waranty" on the box. The newer ones I'm not sure make that claim anymore.
I've never used the in-line heater you mentioned, but I've read of keepers on other forums liking it.
My newest heater is a 200-watt Ebo-Jager, and it's doing a wonderful job keeping the water in a 100-gallon stock tank with about 80 gallons of water in it in a very cool basement at the very temp it's set for (72F). I had bought two, but after reading that one is good for up to 90 gallons, I may put in the other one only if the weather gets a lot colder. I've read about the supposed decline of the Ebo-Jager quality, but the product has been taken over by Eheim, so I wonder how much Eheim would let the quality suffer. I sometimes think getting a good heater is the luck of the draw to some extent. I have a 4-year-old Tronic that still works just fine as well.
