CRYPTOCORYNE, is a very difficult plant. i would reccomend the bunch plants. like your second picture.

My res eat anacharis in a min !!!

I heared CRYPTOCORYNE is so bitter .
Can I use it (CRYPTOCORYNE ) in my decoration tank ? I want he don't eat it .

I don't know about the taste, but some species of cryptocoryne (aka Water Trumpet) are used as decorative aquarium plants. I don't know if your RES will eat it or not. Even if he doesn't, though, some species of the plant are fairly difficult to maintain.

I know my Ralph's favourite is a type of vallisneria, Itallian vallisneria I think? I could be wrong. It's fairly fast growing, and it sends out shoots
