Can the turtles see in the dark? I just bought a 20gal tank and it has a basking area. The water cover 2/3 of the tank. My turtle is a baby, so Im scared that if I turn the light completely of, and if she goes for a swim, she might not find the basking light or a resting spot and she could drawn..
Turtles need a regular light/dark cycle that mimics day and night. Turning the light off at night is perfectly fine for them. They will navigate the tank without a problem.

Your turtle will do fine without those night bulbs, go to the care section on the website under UVB lights it says night lights should be avoided cause they can disturb sleep.
