So I've been looking at some care sheets for painted and map turtles and I have a question...
Generally, most of the care sheets that I have seen all say something around the lines that for hatchling turtles they recommend a water depth of 3 to 6 inches... My question is this... Does the water depth HAVE to be at that depth, or would it be ok for my to fill my tank up with water like I normally would...
And just to give some perspective, I have a 6 foot long 150 gallon tank... Lots of water... besides the length, the tank is about 18 inches high and 24 inches in width...
Me being my uninformed self, I would assume that more water would neccesarily be a problem, and my sarcastic persona wants me to say something like "Whats going to happen? Are they going to get lost?"
But then again, I admit I don't really know what I'm talking about... =]
Thanks
