Habitat - Indoor :: Glasscages.com...

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

I am trying to find where I can get good deals on tanks. I was recommended this site. The prices look pretty good.

Has anyone ordered tanks from this website? Is good, how's the quality of the tank? Would it be worth buying from them and can they be trusted? Sorry for so many questions, but I just want to be sure and that I don't want to get ripped off. xD

Thanks in advance :D

LOTS of people on this site have bought tanks from them. Everyone seems to be VERY happy with the site. Just make sure that if you are going to get a tank, don't get a turtle tank, get a regular fish tank.

www.glasscages.com IS AWESOME!!!! I ordered my 240 gal. tall tank from them. The service was great, even the truck driver at the pick up location was incredibly nice. It only cost me $1,000 for the tank, AND the stand, compared to the $4,500 one I was going to buy. The tank, and stand are built to last, very nice quality. If you can find the muscle to get your tank off there truck, then I would highly recommend them.

Shipping for both combined, was only $125, but that depends on what size tank you get, and if you get the stand. It is cheap because you meet them at one of there meeting points( http://www.glasscages.com/?sAction=Deliv ), and they only take it to the back of the truck. You have to get it into your vehicle. And believe me if you get a big tank you will need at least four guys. My tank weighs 800 pounds EMPTY! They can set-up freight shipping, but I imagine that would cost more then the tank and stand did!

but when I do pick up the tank, do I have to meet at their meeting place? I looked at the delivery schedule chart, but there's none in my state :( but on the map is does have an area very close to where i live, but why isnt it on the chart? sorry if that was a dumb question lol :oops:

Not at all, there web-site isn't that up to date, you get MUCH better service by calling, and asking when the next date is. The people on the phones are VERY nice, and they will answer any question you have about there tanks. :D :D
