Habitat - Indoor :: Setting up a new Tank, need some advice!

I have had my turtle for quite awhile...he was TINY when I purchased him, but he is growing so quickly!

I currently have him with my fish in a 55 gallon tank, but I recently purchased a wide tank for him, it isn't as tall, but it is wider, and almost the same length.

I am now going to focus on setting it up CORRECTLY for him & being sure he has the best care possible. I realized upon some research that a LOT of the information the pet store gave me was plain out wrong! I am actually surprised he has been so healthy all along.

So, I guess I need some ideas/advice/suggestions to making this the perfect home for him!

I already have one of the floating docks, but from there, I have to start over!

Does anyone have any good links or pictures of what an ideal setup would look like??

I already have the filter, floating dock, and aquarium... I need to get some more stuff, especially the heater, as the RES will be moving to my bedroom, which is a bit cooler than the rest of the house..
