how long to you think i should keep my airstones on? i have them set to go on and off the same time as the lights but i was wondering if i could leave them on non stop.
Horsepower is how fast you hit a wall. Torque is how far you move a wall

You could keep it on non-stop, but Im geussing If you feed your turtle in the same tank it would move the food around alot. But yeah, theres no real negative effects of having it on 24/7

the food never last long enough to get moved around anyway so thats no concern

I have my air stones on all the time. My turt loves to swim through them and he bites at the bubbles. Really cute. :)

Ditto. 24/7. It keeps the water level agitated so you don't get that gross water level line.
