A lot of people have found good deals on Craigs list. Or watch for sales at your local pet store.

It's a little late in the season but garage sales are also good spots to find tanks. If you buy one second hand, I'd make sure and test it for leaks before buying it though.

How much are you hoping to pay? I found a 75 gallon on craigslist for 60 bucks, some people just need to get rid of them so they'll go cheap. Others expect to get full price for them. You might also be able to find a good price on an equivalent sized stock tank.

A few other sites I frequently search for tanks on are postaroo.com, pennysaverusa.com, and the marketplace section of facebook, as well as classifieds in my local paper.

Recently, the pet supply section in classifieds in my local paper have been full of ads for tanks (not the season for aquatic pets, I guess). Church garage sales have also for some strange reason had quite a few aquariums and equipment for sale really cheap.

You can also go into to privately owned pet stores and they (if they don't have them in stock) can order them for you really cheap.
