Habitat - Indoor :: old 10 gallon tank?

I thought that you stated before that you couldn't upgrade as big as you would like until you were out of the house? While that is a nice idea if you were 17 or 18 and planning on getting your own apartment off campus at college so you didn't have to worry about the rules with animals on campus (the typical rule is, underwater-breathing fish only and no bigger than a 10 gallon aquarium), you are only 13.
I know it's tough, but you have a responsibility to be a good turtle mom and in 5 or so years when you go off to college they will already be fully grown or nearly so and you are looking at either 4 100 gallon aquariums, or a pond. Do you really think that your parents will invest in that when they will not let you get anything bigger than what you have right now? Your brothers have turtles too? Then you definitely need a pond.
At 13, you are not in the position to suck it up and do the best you can for your turtles until you get out of the house because that is too long to make your turtles wait.

That being said, I think that you should SERIOUSLY consider re-homing at least 2 of your turtles (hopefully 3) and concentrate on giving the best life possible for 1 turtle until you have moved out of the house and can do whatever you want.
I know you want to do everything you can, but at your age, under your parents rules, you can't, and I hope you realize that.

Before, I said that my parents wouldnt let me get a rubbermaid container. But for christmas they are going to get me a bigger tank. At least a 100 gallons or more.
And we have 4 turts. 2 are mine, and 1 is my younger brothers, and 1 is my other younger brothers. When I go to college my mom is going to take care of them. But, when i move out of the house, i am going to take my two turts. My brothers are each going to take theirs. By then, each of the turts are going to have their own tank. They are not going to ever be overcrouded in like a 20 gallon tank when they are each like 3 inches or something if that is what you are thinking.
I want my turtles to live a WONDERFUL life. And so far they seem to be have a great time. And how could i take back my turts when i know that they are just going to go back to a 20 gallon tank with maybe 3 inches of water with like 30 other turtles in the tank?? I couldnt bear to do that.

Also, i cant really build a pond when there is only 3 months of summer here in Minnesota. It is usually only warm 4 months out of the 12 that we have. Maybe even less. The only thing i can do is house them inside. (i wish i could build them a 5000 gallon pond though!)

If you re-home them through craigslist or something like that, you can ensure that people know how to take care of the turtles and are willing to do so. I'm glad they're finally going to give you a bigger tank and I hope everything works out, but I still hope that you're willing to give up a couple if you realize that you can not give them the life that they deserve.

Emmanelson the minimum is 40 gallons for 1 turtle(if it is a female 50)and like I said my turtle looks like a praying mantis in a small house.he is still small enough too be in a 13 gallon
