Habitat - Indoor :: reflections in the tank

can the turtles see there reflections on the side of the tank? ive noticed Cujo spending alot of time at the side walls of the tank.

Some tanks make them like that some dont my tank doesnt so i put a little mirror right next to it and it keeps him occupied

Not unless you have a very dark background. Turtles love to go along the edges of their tank. I think they're either begging at inanimate objects, or they're trying to swim through the glass.

haha my turtle is just trying to swim in what he thinks is more water to make dirty. he doesnt spend much time staring and playing in "reflections" though, hes swiming through glass or running from me or trying to bite me through the glass
