Does anyone have bubble stones in their tank. My wife wanted to but 2 across the back of the tank for looks. I wanted them for circulation. Is it ok for the turtle? My turtle seems to love it. He plays with the bubbles all the time. He will actually swim to the bottom and lay on top of the stones and let the bubbles hit his bottom shell. It almost seems as if it is comfortable to him. I just wanted to know if it was ok or even a good idea. If you have experience with this or knowledge please reply with your thoughts.

Yeah there have been previous discussions about the bubbles. They are perfectly fine for turtles. My turtle is the same way, he loves to swim thru them like they tickle his feet or something. Many people on here have them.

i have them bubbles in my tank, to add to the water disturbance, wall-e isnt a bubble fan though, just likes chilling on his lettuce lol

I have had air stones in Sam's tank for a while......Except for now he has decided that he likes to eat them.....So now I just stick the airline under and behind his heater cause I think he'd probably try to eat that too !!

I've got one in kai's tank but I'am not sure if he likes it....
The main problem I have with mine is that it floats to the top but I'll find a way round that problem .

my bubble disk would never lay flat so i went and got some suction cups to keep the airline out of the way. i put one close the disk and now it doesnt want to float away.

I have two pretty good sized air stones in Mikey's tank. He likes to play with them and they help disturb the water so it doesn't become stagnate. I've got the hoses suctioned to the side of the tank so Mikey can't move them around. But Mikey loves them.

I have two bubble stones inside containers with river rocks on top of them to hold them down. The only problem now is that the turtles like to dig them up and I find the unattached disks floating at the top of the tank!
