Hello, I have 2 turtle tanks and both of them have this cloudy/foggy film on the inside of the cage just above the water line and it covers the whole inside of the cage. I've tried scrubbing it off with just water alone and it wont come off. It looks like it has come off when the surface is wet with water but as soon as it dries, it is a cloudy film again. Has anyone ever had this problem before and if so, what did you do or use to get rid of this cloudy film? It is getting really annoying because it looks like I never clean the cage, it looks gross! Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Beth

Yeah, it's hard water deposits. I hear that vinegar will remove it, but you can't get it in the water. I have "tetra stay clean wipes", they take it off pretty well, but it comes back quickly. It annoys me too, because i work really hard to keep the tank nice and clean. Hopefully others will come along with more ideas.

I get tons of dried turtle skin on the water line. A razor works pretty well to remove it.
