I have been begging my mom to let me get a 50 gallon rubbermaid container for my 4 baby 1 inch turtles but she wont budge!! I say that the 20 gallon that they are living in now is way to small for them and that they should have a bigger house. I have told her like 1 million times that 10 gallons of water for every inch of shell they have. she said that they are fine and that she doesnt want and big huge aquariums in her house and that when i get older and get my own house i can do whatever i want with the turtles. How can i make her let me get the 50 gallon rubbermaid container for the turtles??? PLEASE HELP!!!
Also, i dont have names for 2 of my turtles. 1 is a RES and the other is a mississippi map. what should i name them? i dont know if they are boys or girls yet.
3 turtles,
3 cats,
& fish.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but didn't we address your problem in the thread you made below this one?

It would be better if you would have just posted this is your previous thread, making new threads takes up space.

Does she not want to buy the continer because of the space it takes up?
If so, then try keeping it in your room where no one can see it except for you.
My mom hates aquariums, becaue they take up alot of space, so i jut kept it in my room, she barely even knows it is here.

If it is because of the price, then make sure she knows its okay around 20 bucks or so...

Safdar, I said that because she asked the exact same question in the other thread and we answered it.

i know....
thats what i told her
i think ur getting confused

Well anyway try what i said, then come back here. Sometimes you just have to hit the right time when your parents are happy, maybe she isnt in the mood today, find a perfect moment, when she cant say no, then ask

You might want to consider giving some if not all of your turtles to a rescue. Within the next year each of them should be around 3-4 inches so you will require a 160 gallon tank. If your mom will not allow you to get even a rubbermaid, then you should consider giving the turtles to someone who can care for them properly. Maybe you can make a deal with your mom that if you get rid of three of them, you can get a bigger tank for the last one. Don't keep the turtles if you can't care for them.
