Habitat - Indoor :: Quick Question about water temp

Very interesting thread because I have been putting filtered crushed ice into Limu's tank for the past 3 days because it has been insanely hot out here in Southern California. I wasn't sure this was a good thing until I saw Limu becoming more active after I cooled the water down. And once I get it down to the temperature it should be it stays that way until the next morning when I see that it's gone up by 2 - 3 degrees, even though we do have the AC on. It's just insanely hot out here. Hopefully it won't be this hot for long.
