i need a little help with this one... i have a 75 gal tank full of water just filled it up, i have 2 aqua tech 200 (each pumps like 220 g/h)(each good fot 55 gal) but my water goes cloudy, almost like a new pool does. its not green and does not smell, just white cloudy? any ideas? (ph is tested daily and at a solid 7) Image

probably just normal cycling. Give it a few days and it should clear right up.

Give it a few days for the benficaial bacteria to develope

It might take up to a week or two sometimes. Just keep your filter running and if you get impatient, you could always pick up some biozyme or cycle or something similar to jump start the biological filtration process.

"Turtle Clean" is one I have used with a lot of success in the past. But for a larger tank, you will end up going thru quite a bit of it and the stuff is not cheap!

Find a salt-water aquarium store & find out what kind of bacteria/enzyme additive they use for the large tanks in the store. They have the more concentrated stuff & it works great for the larger-than-50-gallon tanks. It works for fresh & saltwater fish so you don't have to worry about it not working for a turtle (The fish are WAY more sensitive to water quality than turtles....that's good news for us). :)
