Turtle poop?

I've been giving Maxi some romaine lettuce and yesterday some watermelon.. I came home today it looked like a mess in the tank with I assume the lettuce floating around some looked like balls and some long strains plus I saw some carrots as well.

What color was it? If it was dark green, you might have used too much veggies.

Dark green more is stuck to the intake to the filter I will grab a picture when I get home

Have you been using the same amount? Normally when I see unusual poop, I cut back on everything a bit until it returns to normal.

Thats a good sign. I would probably look into a different substrate though.

Crazy some sites are like it’s great and some are like no.. pool sand is hard to find local and still needs to be washed

I've found them at garden centers. They still need to be washed but work a bit better in the tank since the grains are a bit bigger. You can still use playsand if you wish.
