Eheim turtle feeder

Pretty funny here but looks like Max knows where the food is coming from and keeps looking at the feeder when she's climbing up on the basking spot then goes back in the water I still wonder if I'm underfeeding.. I know they say feed as much as they can eat in 5 min but roughly how much food is that? given I'm using a HOB filter and I haven't got my canister filter in yet I don't want the tank to be a huge mess.

Be a bit conservative with the food... for daily use, pellets should amount to roughly 1/3 or 1/2 of their head. Does the feeder have any setting?

It has a slider opening and I can do one rotation or two per set time with 4 total feed times right now I have it set for 7:30 am and 8:35 pm it’s a mix of krill/shrimp and mini sticks.

Any particular reason you’re relying on it? Feeding turtles is a bonding moment, for me anyway.

Will anybody be checking in on him? 5 days isn't a problem even if not fed, I just personally like to have someone check in.

No one will be checking in but I do have a web camera set up on the tank that I do check while I'm at work and my girlfriend is not home.
