My RES is in a small rubbermaid container in my garage that has a floating dock. She is spending a lot of time just sitting on the dock. I don't have a basking light or anything other than a heater in the water. Every weekend, I manually carry my turtle tank from garage to backyard to spend a day in real California sun. My turtle is still very active and acts normally. Is this normal for turtle to not be in the water often even though I don't have a basking light?
