General Care Discussion :: Is this big enough?

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

I have 2 turtles put in the same tank. They are both about 5 years old, and they're each about 4 inches across. I have them in a transparent Rubbermaid tank, which is about 13 gallons. I can't afford a new aquarium I'm just wondering is this big enough for my turtles?
If its too small, where can I get a bigger enclosure for under 20 dollars?

It's too small. Is either of them a male?

You will lily have to separate them soon, or find separate homes for them. Most economical upgrade would be a plastic storage container. Glass aquariums run about $1 per gallon (new 10-55, used 55-100) and usually hold their resale value.
