Are these eggs?

I have a soon to be adult red eared slider. I think she laid eggs in the soil today but not sure if it's something from a tree. See, she escaped and burrowed in the woods, but these were buried under her. About 5 or so of them

Pictures would help. By "burrowed", do you mean that you actually saw her go underground? Or did you just see her digging with her back legs? The latter is typical egg-laying behavior.

She would not bury herself with her eggs. Can you post a picture of what you're seeing?
