Since I don't have my tank all the way filled up - I have it filled to about 4" below the top. I keep getting these white spots on the inside of my tank glass. I've been using Apple cider vinegar to clean them off with my weekly maintenance but was wondering if this was the best way to do and the safest.

What do you all do about those unsightly water stains.

Thanks

The stains could also be shed skin. How strong is the build-up? Sometimes I just grab a paper towel and wipe it once a week.
