is it ok to use diluted anti-bacterial hand soap on my res's shell when I bathe her?

I wouldnt, you cant be sure how it will effect your res.
If want you can give him a salt bath and a gentle scrub with a soft tooth brush,if you want a disinfectant use diluted betadine.

Very few things are successful against shell fungus. How bad is the infection?
