Can RES have stunted growth? My turtles Cow and Pig are tiny. The are both about 2.5 years old and I've had them since they were hatchlings they both still had their yolk sacks when my Mom brought them home. They have grown but Cow is only 2.75in long and pig is only 3.25 in long. I know that pig is well being a pig when it comes to food so I've been separating her for feedings whenever I can (about 3 or 4 times a week). I feed them about a heads worth of reptomin or green lettuce in alternating days with carrot as a treat and I'm working on introducing jello shots occasionally. Am I doing something wrong are they just small? what should I be doing? thanks for reading an advice is welcome!

It's possible that it could be genetic. Males will also be a bit smaller. It's more likely that Pig is taking in a bit more food. It's not unusual for one RES to outcompete another for food.

Thanks for your help, I already separate Pig for dinner. The both appear to be female but they are too young to be sure I'll definitely keep that in mind though.
