when my first turtle has grown it started to bite the other one i went to the vet he told me to separate them until the second one grow and he has grown but the first one is still bigger and i don't know whether to put them back together or not. what should i do?

Do you know the sex of them? A male will probably always need to be separated.

The second one is a male but I don't know about the first

The first 5 years and the second 4 years

The first I would guess female. If the second is definitely male, then I would keep him separate.
