My cooters mating one time not sure if it was successful but tails were together if mating was successful does that mean she is gravid ?? For video go on YouTube type in jasoncop2281

A female cooter can be gravid without mating.

I know that I just wanna know all it takes is one time of a success mate for a female to be gravid or does it take several times

Well from the video, he did not successfully mate. As for does it only take one time? Yes, but turtles can mate 1 a day and never lay eggs. A turtle under stress may not produce egg ever or she never feels conditions are right to produce eggs. So only time will tell. Obviously he could of mated with her successfully when you were not there but in the video it was a no go.
