Summer Heating and Lighting

So we got Kenny our RES in February. He has his basking light and his UVB light that I turn on every day. But this week it started being nicer outside (70's and got to low 80's yesterday) His tank is on the same wall as the sliding glass door, just about 6 feet from the opening side, but only 2 feet from the other side. When its nice like this or even hotter and I have the door open and the blinds open, does he still need his heating and uvb lights turned on? Summer can get 80's/90's so the house can get quite warm to downright miserable, will he still need the bulbs on then?

is the sunlight hitting the basking spot with nothing in the way like glass or plastic...if the sun is hitting the basking spot directley it could work..if i were you i would just put him outside in a kiddie pool or pond if you have one

I'd still use the UVB but you will need to see if he will bask without the basking light.
