Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

So I have been nearly a year since I was on here.

We moved in September, us, cat and turtle. So over the past few months our RES has had different water, a whole new world of tank water evaporation ( I usually have to top it up once or twice a month instead of every 2 months now, due.to the woodstoce I. The place we live now) and since we moved she doesn't like her veggies anymore.

She is shedding pretty much every part of her shell right now, it seems to be ongoing for more than a month. She is 6 ( possibly 7 I can't for the life of me remember what year I got her, but its written down somewhere at my moms house and I will try and get her to find it. Also, her legs, and head when she is in the water have clearish floaties stuck to her, like shedding skin. If I take her out and dry her you can't see it, and when I take a picture in the tank you can't really see it.

Also, she is kind of orange in color on her plastron, and her shell edges.

Shedding is pretty normal. Would you say it's excessive?

No I am not all that concerned about her shedding, its pretty normal for her, she seems to be growing quickly right now.

Its her not eating her veggies and her shell color change to a slight orange that I am more curious of. As well as her skin, which is as if she.is shedding layers of her skin, with translucent white floaties which can't be seen when she isn't in the water.

Can you host a picture on a site like photobucket or imgur?

Has she been eating the non-veggies in her diet? The orange color might be an indication of retained scutes or growing too fast.

She eats her pellets fine, which I think is why she is growing a little quickly.

I don't know if she is retaining acutest I remove the ones she sheds, and I am getting about the same surfing as normal, now but before I wasn't. And now she has started to eat her romaine again. I am not really sure what her issue was but I tear up her lettuce leaf and the past couple days she started eating it again.

Also I can't host a photo on those sites. I am using a smart phone right now and it doesn't like letting me post pictures.
