Here is my Skimmer.. I keep thinking he looks overfed, but I follow everything I read and only give him pellets every-other-day with lettuce in between. His lines don't appear too wide, but his shell looks real lumpy to me and a bit peaked. What do y'all think? He's started basking a lot yesterday and I hope today while I was at work.. Maybe he just needs a few good sheddings.

This one was last year.. He looks better then compared to now I think.

Go look at my PVC basking dock and maybe it will give you an idea for yours.. It's cheap and easy to put together and durable!

Thanks I will try something along those lines, right now trying to dial in the feeder tank's water, had two fish die so scared to feed Biscuit any til we get the water ph right....

I am no expert, see posts from beginning, but I tend to agree with you about him looking better before. I got Biscuit down to 6 fish a week, spread out like 2 every 3 days or so, and pellets, about 20 every three days, then kale in between. It sounds like a lot still, but still tweaking his diet. His shell is smoothing out I am proud to say!
