those turtles are sooo cute!! (the one in the pic and industrial girls newest addition) I wish I could take 1 or more off of your hands but I'm still a new turtle parent myself and finding out very fast that even one is a handful! (omgoodness- to you having to take care of 15 babies) but I will definately ask any of my friends who have been admiring my little Leo if they'd like one themselves! Good luck with those tiny babies!!

Do you happen to need a basking platform? I purchased a large floating platform off of craigslist and my turtle won't touch it. I'd be willing to donate it to you if you need it.

Get the babies some natural sun light. Next to a window, with the window open so the sun light can get absorbed. Sun rays can not go though glass.
There is a calcium powder for raptiles with vitiman D, cheap, pet shops. You can mix it with chop meat, cat food, dog food. Years ago when my babies had soft shell the Vet. told me to but them in a dish with tomato juice for 15 minites three times a week, sound crazy but it worked.
Your in college, ask some of the professors for help, they are aniaml loves too. There has to be stuff in school you can use. You won't know still you ask.

Hey Evelyn, the problem is that mybrosteve lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania so opening a window for sunlight is not an option right now since there is snow on the ground.

The screen will block some of the UVB and you may be exposing your turtle to cold drafts, which you don't want to.
